Dr. Beth Davidow graduated from Cornell University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. After graduation, she moved to Seattle and worked in an emergency hospital for several years. She then pursued a residency in emergency and critical care at Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital in Portland, Oregon and became a diplomate of ACVECC in 2002. She co-founded and then co-owned two multispecialty and emergency hospitals and a blood bank in Seattle, Washington for 10 years. She is now an assistant professor in emergency and critical care at Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. Her research interests include leukoreduction, transfusion reactions, and issues related to patient safety. She blogs on veterinary topics at vetidealist.com.
